It’s only the third day of 2020 and a lot has happened in the industry already. As of January 1, AAMA and IGMA “united for good” to officially become the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA)! After a 2019 vote by both bodies to unify, the two organizations have come together to create an exponentially stronger alliance. This big move means there are new social media accounts to follow to make sure you stay in the loop with what’s new in the industry.

Building accounts from the ground up is an exciting new challenge for me, and I hope those who found value in following the AAMA and IGMA accounts will join us over at the new FGIA ones. Follow the new association on a range of social media platforms:


New Landing Page

Visit the FGIA landing page at FGIAonline.org and watch this space for developments soon, including the unveiling of the official logo at the inaugural FGIA Annual Conference in February.

New Hashtags

As for our social media hashtags, please watch for #FGIAconf during upcoming FGIA conference coverage. On January 14, the first #FGIAwebinar will be held, with live tweets tagged accordingly. It will be exciting to watch the engagement using these hashtags grow right along with our new accounts.
