The FGIA summer event has a new format in 2025! As part of FGIA’s objective focused on delivering purposeful and valued events, the Summer Conference will be transitioned into a fully virtual event. However, this new format for the summer event will not simply transfer the in-person conference structure to an online experience. Instead, it will be entirely different and will focus on delivering high-value information through speakers, industry reports and presentations. During this event, participants will hear the latest updates and news from various speakers and industry key players.

Two tracks will be offered with topics addressing residential and commercial markets. Within these tracks we will be covering security screens, installation, thin glass, the latest FGIA market study, codes and regulations topics like encouraging sustainability initiatives and navigating changes in Canadian politics and U.S. trade regulations and more. Because the goal is to deliver a learning experience addressing the most critical topics to our industry and our members, no working meetings on the schedule.

In the week prior to the summit, a link will be provided to join the sessions, where expert speakers will share their insights.

In addition, tips for staying connected will also be shared, including how to ask questions, connect with other participants and how to access meeting materials. Beyond your participation at the summit, an online resource provides information on committee participation and balloting procedures, as well as other useful information.
