New Offerings from FGIA Education
There are some exciting things happening within FGIA Education! Earlier this year, FGIA launched a new Learning Management System (LMS) for our online trainings. Two new a la carte courses just became available from the upcoming FenestrationMasters® 3.0 program. Finally, registration for the FGIA IG Fabricator Workshop is now open! Read on to learn more about these opportunities for professional growth and how you and your company can benefit from your access to FGIA Education.
LMS Launch
FGIA’s new LMS launched in April 2024. It now boasts a modern design aligned with FGIA branding and offers a new, AI-driven online proctored exam service which allows candidates greater flexibility in scheduling and taking certification exams, including same-day appointments. Instructions to users are provided at course sign-up and when an exam is scheduled!
IG Fabricator Workshop
Registration is now open for this popular in-person hands-on training, taking place November 5-7 at the Intertek facility in Plano, TX. Spaces are limited – first come, first served. For those unable to attend, a video series training option is also available.
NAFS and Insulating Glass Courses
FGIA is now offering topics from the upcoming third edition of FenestrationMasters, FGIA’s flagship education program, for individual purchase. The two à la carte modules cover the North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS), including the NAFS Canadian Supplement, and Fundamentals of Insulating Glass. While the full version of FenestrationMasters 3.0 will be released later this year, these two options are now available for purchase.
FenestrationMasters 3.0 – Coming Soon!
FGIA Education is pleased to announce a targeted launch in late November for FenestrationMasters 3.0! This update will include general content updates based on FGIA documents published since the 2.0 program was launched in 2020. It will include three new content modules covering Canadian Codes, Insulating Glass and the NAFS Canadian Supplement.
