After a long summer, I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things at in-person industry events this fall, including GlassBuild America in Las Vegas, NV and FGIA’s own 2022 Fall Conference this September in Chicago, IL. While we have managed to make the most of getting work done over conference calls and online meetings, I know nothing beats getting to see FGIA members in person. Both GlassBuild and the Fall Conference will offer a ton of much needed networking opportunities, adding value to the experiences for both individuals and companies.

In-person networking is critical to building a strong professional network, whether you are a seasoned veteran or new to the industry. That is why FGIA is hosting several fun-filled conference events, including an architecture boat tour, a sunset dinner cruise and the return of the FGIA Product Showcase.

I personally can’t wait to go on this dinner cruise Monday, September 26! Grab a cocktail and a souvenir photo, but don’t forget to wear your favorite Chicago fanwear showing off your favorite sports teams or other Chicago-related attire, in keeping with the event theme: “Set Sail through the Windy City.” (I will, of course, be representing my Chicago Bears!)

FGIA Product Showcase

Back for the first time since 2019, the revamped FGIA Product Showcase on Tuesday, September 27 will provide conference participants with the opportunity to view product solutions, hands-on and in-person.
