If your company will be represented at the upcoming FGIA Fall Conference, you should know about some extra ways you can get your name out before, during and after the event. The FGIA Events team does a great job of opening opportunities for sponsorship and next-level involvement, and the FGIA Marketing team is here to help you promote that extra step. Read on for three ways you can act now to make sure your company is front and center at the Fall Conference, and how FGIA can help promote your efforts.

Event Sponsorship

What you get: There are several different levels of event sponsorship for every company’s budget. Sponsorship opportunities are available to Category 1 and 2 and GPC-only corporate members at FGIA events. View a list of available sponsorship opportunities.

How to promote it: Use FGIA’s sponsor kits! No matter your level of sponsorship whether it is Platinum or Bronze, all sponsors are sent a customized sponsor kit, complete with FGIA-provided social media graphics, promotional images of the conference venue and even sample social media posts tailored for different platforms.

Product Showcase

What you get: This popular networking reception gets participants in the door with the promise of the chance to learn about the latest product trends. But for exhibitors, this hands-on, once-a-year event offers a prime opportunity for supplier members to showcase products and services and is exclusively offered to FGIA Category 1, Category 2 and GPC-only Supplier Members. During the event, your company will be included in a social media post showing all exhibitors with their tables.

How to promote it: Use FGIA’s Product Showcase emblem shown here! Plus, if you are an exhibiting company, you can reach out to me, and I will create a version of this emblem for you including your company’s logo. Then, this emblem can be shared on your website, social accounts and beyond.

World Vision Backpack Build

What you get : Each fall, FGIA partners with World Vision to assemble and donate hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies for area in-need children so they can start the school year off right. This event is a low-cost, easy lift for your company to become more involved in philanthropy. Donate $20 per backpack and help FGIA reach its goal of filling 200 backpacks for kids in the Minneapolis area. Your company will be thanked during lunch at the conference, but there is also ample opportunity to spread the word about your involvement on social media.

How to promote it: If your company sponsors even a single backpack, I will create for you a custom graphic noting you as a donor. I will also create a graphic thanking you for your contribution, which will be shared on FGIA’s own social media platforms.

Bonus Opportunity

A final bonus for you to use on social media: throughout the week and after the fact, FGIA posts photo albums for each event on Flickr. Use these images to share your experience and promote your level of involvement. You can also take them back to your company leaders and decision makers so they too can see the value of participating in FGIA events, particularly in-person ones.
