FGIA’s Glass Products Council has been busy in 2024! The GPC oversees and reviews development of all technical publications, assists in development and maintenance of insulating glass standards and provides technical expertise and supports technical programs. The Council also determines product or service needs and requirements, sets scope and publication medium for technical documents and code positions, and designs and develops new or changed products or services. Additionally, the Council recommends decommissioning of current products or services. Did you know the GPC Advisory Committee is meeting in an executive session at the 2024 FGIA Summer Conference June 3-6? This session is exclusive to GPC Chairs, Vice Chairs and Board Representatives only. In addition to this session, the GPC as a whole will meet for a working session and a material forum. These will be followed by a joint session of the Architectural Products Council (APC), the Residential Products Council (RPC) and the GPC. The GPC Research Committee will also meet, offering valuable insights into products and technologies you and your company need to know about.
