It’s that time of year again, when FGIA corporate members will be preparing to re-up their membership with the Association. The corporate renewal process will begin in early November this year, with all renewals due by January 1, 2022. Let’s get into how the process works, and why it is such an important part of maintaining your membership.

In a few weeks, member company main contacts will receive renewal notices via email from me at dpeters@FGIAonline.org. From there, simply click the link provided to complete the online renewal form. For your convenience, the online form will be pre-populated with data based on your company’s 2021 membership parameters. That said, any information there can be changed if applicable. To make sure you get this communication from me, please verify FGIA’s domain (and specifically my email address) are cleared by your IT security system to be delivered. That way, you won’t miss this important upcoming renewal notice.

FGIA membership is always important to maintain, and even more so now. Despite a second year of operating in a pandemic environment, FGIA has:

  • Delivered high quality and affordable virtual events with valuable content and advancement of association projects that consistently reached a wider audience of member company employees
  • Provided leadership and guidance to critical code and regulation development in the U.S. and Canada based on member direction
  • Launched the new IG Fabricators Workshop online video series to support professional development objectives
  • Published new and revised technical documents and standards, delivering the latest technical information to our members through the FGVL (Fenestration and Glazing Virtual Library)

Plus, we are about to host our first-ever hybrid conference October 18-21, and an in-person event in our ever-popular IG Fabricators Workshop November 3-5! It’s been a busy 2021, and we are already making big plans for 2022. We know you will want to be a part of it all.

Now more than ever, companies need quick, easy and consistent access to critical industry information and influence to supplement their in-house teams. Membership with FGIA is an excellent way to get it. Be sure to reach out with any questions!
