Member Shout Outs | Accomplishments Abound This Spring

This spring has been a busy time for AAMA, but it’s always important to stop and reflect on the good work being done by those around you. AAMA recently raised $1,000 for World Vision’s Global 6K for Water at a Chicago walking event, and this contribution made us want to take a moment to single out some AAMA member companies for doing great work. Join us in recognizing these folks for their accomplishments.
Milgard
For the sixth year, Milgard Windows & Doors worked with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity to help beautify and prepare homes in preparation for low-income families to move in. PS, we see Anand Mahajani, AAMA FenestrationMasters® Certified Professional, pictured in the press release!
MI Windows
Per Door & Window Market, OSHA has certified MI Windows and Doors’ manufacturing facility in Gratz, PA as a Star worksite, OSHA’s highest level of recognition for workplace safety and health excellence.
Spectrum Metal Finishing
The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) recognized Neil Chrisman III, President and owner of Spectrum Metal Finishing, as the AEC Volunteer of the Year. Congratulations, Neil!
Andersen Corp and Soft-Lite
Two AAMA member companies, Andersen Corp and Soft-Lite, were named ENERGY STAR® Energy Partners of the Year for being national leaders in energy efficiency. Both were honored in the Sustained Excellence — Product Brand Owner category.
All of these happened in the last two months alone! If you know of someone who should be commended for their accomplishments, please tweet at us @AAMAinfo on Twitter so we can share the good news.
