In case you missed it, Top Glass 2025 was a big success. From demonstrations of innovative products to knowledgeable speakers delivering top-quality presentations, Top Glass was one for the books. The show welcomed more than 360 glazing contractors, glass fabricators, architects and specifiers to the International Centre in Mississauga to network and attend exclusive education sessions from top experts. FGIA’s own Amy Roberts provided an update on FGIA standards that have been revised since the 2020 codes went into effect and delivered a top-line look at important changes affecting architectural glazing. These included new limits on solar heat gain.
It was great seeing everyone in Mississauga! We hope you enjoyed your time at one of the best conferences and vendor expos laser-focused on building with glass. It feels great to be back to in-person events like this one, as well as the recent FGIA FENBC Region Technical Summit and the FGIA Southeast Region Meeting, both held in April. And when we can’t meet in person, FGIA hosts compelling online content during virtual events, such as the June 17-18 Virtual Summer Summit or the FGIA Western Region Summit this fall. As you may already know, adding a region to your FGIA membership provides access to an exclusive regionally focused annual newsletter. But this also gains you entry into regional events, where you can meet, network and get updates on the most important information to that region.
Even if you are not invested in a region, you can still benefit from knowing the ins and outs of a geographic market. And to get a wider view of the industry, and a timely one, consider registering for the 2025 Virtual Summer Summit. Read more about the event’s most topical sessions covering the state of the industry and be sure to register now.
