Businesses involved in the manufacture, sale or service of fenestration or glass products may apply for Corporate Membership according to one of the following classifications:
- Fenestration Producer: Companies with a primary business of manufacturing windows, doors, skylights, curtain walls and storefronts.
- Insulating Glass Producer: Companies with a primary business of manufacturing IG units.
- Fenestration Component Producer: Companies with a primary fenestration business of providing non-glass components or equipment to Fenestration Producers (excludes Insulating Glass Producers and Primary Glass Producers).
- Primary Glass Producer: Companies with a primary fenestration business of producing float or other raw glass.
- Insulating Glass Component Producer: Companies with a primary fenestration business of providing components or equipment in the construction of insulating glass. This could include custom tempered glass manufacturers.
- Service Provider: Companies with a primary business of providing services to the fenestration industry. This could include dealers, distributors, engineering firms, commercial glazing contractors, equipment manufacturers and software providers.
- Auditing/Testing Agency: Companies with a primary business of providing testing of fenestration, insulating glass, and glass products, or related components must hold an AAMA Accreditation and maintain that testing in more than 50% of their business.
