Fundamentals of Fenestration

Learn basic terminology and standards for windows, doors and skylights for both residential and light commercial products, as well as commercial and architectural applications. Appropriate for a range of audiences and qualifies for continuing education credits.

IG Fabricators Workshop

Features a balanced mix of classroom education along with hands-on demonstrations on best practices for cleaning, cutting and handling glass, desiccants, sealants, gas fill, frost point and much more.

Fundamentals of Insulating Glass

The Fundamentals of Insulating Glass is a two-part bundle. Glass Fundamentals provides insights into the glass manufacturing process and safety enhancements available. Understanding Insulating Glass Systems provides an in-depth look at insulating glass units (IGUs), critical for modern fenestration products.

Specifying Windows, Doors and Skylights Using NAFS

Newly available as of September 2024, this program covers the performance requirements outlined in NAFS-22 , including the significance and application of the Canadian Supplement to NAFS. The 1.25-hour training explores NAF’s history and evolution, the various performance classes, testing requirements, plus more. It also qualifies for AIA, ICC and AIBC credits.

Leadership Development Program

Gain the soft skills necessary to achieve your full potential as a leader with online modules covering topics such as communicating effectively, recognizing and aligning with company culture, understanding accountability in the workplace, and more.

Earn AIA Credits

AIA members are required to earn 18 continuing education learning units each year, which includes 12 hours of coursework in Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) topics. Plus, several states have established their own continuing education requirements for licensed architects, many of which recognize AIA credits. FGIA offers multiple options to obtain these credits.

Bill Briese was a valued FGIA leader and educator who worked diligently to share his knowledge through his various roles within the association for many years. In honor of Bill’s memory, FGIA founded this company-focused $1,000 grant to help further the education and professional growth of the next generation of industry leaders.
