As 2023 comes to a close, it is a good time to make sure you have the current versions of the documents that best serve and help shape our industry. Several important FGIA standards were updated this year in FGIA’s ongoing efforts to keep up with the latest technologies and performance demands. Let’s take a look at a few of these documents, whose 2023 versions are now available in the FGIA Online Store.

Please keep in mind that AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440, North American Fenestration Standard/Specification for windows, doors and skylights was completed in late 2022 and made publicly available in early 2023.

Each of these documents have been developed or updated using FGIA’s consensus process to take into consideration multiple points of view. The changing of the calendar does not mean that our work is done. There are more documents that are currently in the final stages before they are published and many more are on the way.
