2025 FGIA Southeast Region Meeting

FGIA Southeast Region President Welcome Letter from Carl Troiano!

I am pleased to announce that FGIA’s Southeast Region Meeting is returning in 2025 as an in-person event! Back by popular demand, the event will be held April 22-23 at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key in Florida. On behalf of the Southeast Region Board of Directors, I cordially invite you to participate.

After five years of virtual meetings, I am thrilled to return to in-person gatherings, especially since Florida is my home state. The FGIA Southeast Region brings together manufacturers, suppliers, researchers, engineers and code officials to address regionally specific issues. Members will collaborate on important topics relevant to those selling fenestration and glazing products in the southeastern U.S., including, but not limited to:

• Hurricane trends
• Wind-driven rain research
• The Florida Product Approval Program
• Texas Department of Insurance requirements
• Energy performance advancements
• Visible light transmittance and its effects on wildlife
• Regional code and regulatory updates

The meeting schedule is available now; the event will kick off with a fun networking night at Topgolf St. Petersburg on April 22, followed by a full day of speaker presentations covering crucial information for the southern region states.

Registration and hotel reservations are now open for this significant event, which holds personal importance to me as an FGIA member with a dedicated interest in the Southeast Region. I look forward to seeing you there!
