Will you be in Orlando for the FGIA Annual Conference? Even if you can’t be on site, FGIA’s social media presence makes it easy to keep up with highlights in real time. The Annual Conference is our biggest event each year, and it’s when we get the chance to recognize our members for their contributions, their tenure with the organization and more. Here are four things to watch for on social media during the event, taking place February 17-20.

1. Tenure Awards: Many FGIA members are celebrating milestone anniversaries of Association membership. FGIA will be recognizing these companies during Opening General Session on Tuesday morning. Watch for a shareable Flickr album of winners with their awards on social media.
2. Annual Awards Winner Announcements: Later, on Tuesday night, set up notifications on X for FGIA’s posts to be the first to know who wins in each of the award categories. Plus, a full video of the awards will be available online the following day!
3. Instagram Reel from the AMC Workshop: On Wednesday, several FGIA member companies will lead a hands-on workshop called, “Aluminum Profiles from the Ground Up.” As FGIA has done with previous interactive sessions, we will be sharing updates live on Instagram Stories and saving them as a Reel to view later. Find it pinned to the top of our Instagram profile.
4. Live-tweeted Sessions and Speakers: Throughout the conference, FGIA will be posting live updates on X from various sessions, including our keynote speaker, Ryan Hawk. Follow along with the event hashtag #FGIAconf.
