Join us at #FGIAconf Online This Month
The FGIA Virtual Annual Conference is just around the corner! It is taking place February 23-25, and early bird registration is available through February 10. FGIA Marketing will be live-tweeting sessions throughout the conference on our Twitter account, and we would love for those attending to join the conversation. Follow the hashtag #FGIAconf and use it in your own posts about the event. We will be sharing your posts with our followers and tweeting highlights from speakers. As a reminder, you don’t need a Twitter account to access these threads! That said, if you are on Twitter, be sure to follow FGIA’s account.
Our members and others in the industry are invested in knowing the financial impact of the pandemic, which is why we will be live-tweeting key takeaways from Dr. Chris Kuehl’s keynote address about the future of the economy. Kuehl will also update participants on what is happening with construction, transportation, finance and many other sectors that have been forced to adjust and change in response to the pandemic.
We will also be sharing photos of our award winners immediately following the FGIA Annual Awards Ceremony! Watch for those, along with video-recorded acceptances speeches made by the winners, on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We are thankful for the hard work our members put into the association. Recognizing them at the Annual Awards Ceremony is one of my favorite FGIA events.
Other across-the-board presentations and topics from which we will be tweeting include Opening General Session (our general membership meeting the first morning of the conference), a session covering design trends for commercial and residential construction and an important manufacturing safety update on proper accident investigation protocol. Again, get the highlights from these speakers on Twitter with the hashtag #FGIAconf.
